Kenny Shiloh Russell (they/them) is a Panamanian-Jamaican transmasculine lesbian and interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. With photography at the center, Russell’s work is informed by their connection to land and to the Afro-Caribbean diasporic experience.

Russell interrogates the definition of fluidity in all forms, from literal depictions of the environment to abstract explorations of gender. Their work toes the line between passion and tenderness; an ever evolving display of reverence to the intimate nature of connection.
